I’m thrilled to be performing the music of The Yeats Project again this month! The Yeats Project has two upcoming concerts (see below) that will be professionally recorded. The tracks from these concerts will be released as a live album called “Sarah Jerrom: The Yeats Project”. This will be my second album but will be my first album to completely feature my own original music. A few years ago I wrote music for 10 poems by W.B. Yeats and orchestrated this music for 9 instruments: voice (me), violin, viola, cello, double bass, flugelhorn, bass clarinet, piano and drums, plus a great conductor. The musicians in the ensemble are all amazing professional musicians who perform in jazz, classical and improvised music scenes. It’s my dream to record and release this music as a new album. I decided to start a crowdfunding campaign on Kapipal to make this dream a reality.
Any contributions are truly appreciated.
