New album out now!

March News: The Yeats Project in Toronto and New Album/Crowdfunding Update!

The Yeats Project had a great show at Brock University’s Centre for the Arts in St. Catharines last Friday, Feb. 27. It was really nice to see so many familiar faces in the audience. The next stop for The Yeats Project is at Array Space in Toronto on Wednesday, Mar. 11 at 8 pm. Both Yeats Project concerts are being professionally recorded to be released as my new live album, “Sarah Jerrom: The Yeats Project”. This will be my second album but will be my first album to completely feature my own original music: 11 poems by W.B. Yeats, orchestrated for 9 instruments: voice (me), violin, viola, cello, double bass, flugelhorn, bass clarinet, piano and drums, plus a great conductor. The wonderful musicians in the ensemble all perform in jazz, classical and improvised music scenes. I recently began a Kapipal crowdfunding campaign to make my dream of recording and releasing this music as my next album a reality. We’ve raised over 15% of the $5500 goal! My heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed so far.
