- Notes: Sarah Jerrom’s sound has been described by reviewers as “stunning, sophisticated jazz” and “powerful, stirring yet gentle and very subtle…”. Her debut CD, “Illuminations”, generated considerable attention for its originality and musicianship; her new all-original album, “The Yeats Project”, is set for release this fall. With fifteen years of experience performing in the Toronto jazz scene, Sarah’s repertoire encompasses original compositions, jazz-inspired arrangements of contemporary songs as well as swinging jazz standards and latin tunes. For this performance, she will be joined by Matt Newton on piano and Andrew Downing on bass.
